Lollapalooza 2023 was an absolute success, despite the cancellations of Drake and Blink 182’s shows. The festival broke its attendance record on the first day, Friday, with over 103,000 people in attendance. The lineup featured heavy hitters such as Foo Fighters, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Lana Del Rey, and more, offering fans the opportunity to enjoy a variety of genres and artists in one place.
Some of my favorite shows included Polo & Pan, Rise Against, Billie Eilish, Fred Again, and Tove Lo.
In addition to the shows, the festival offered a variety of activities for visitors, such as food areas, merchandise shops, and rest spaces. Participant safety was also a top priority, with security and medical teams available throughout the event.
With so many unforgettable moments and flawless organization, it’s no surprise that Lollapalooza 2023 was one of the best music festivals in recent years. I can’t wait to see what Lolla 2024 has in store for the next edition!
